This has nothing to do with real estate but I told you this was going to be a little bit business a little bit personal. I was just wondering if any of your husbands, boyfriends, male friends wear designer jeans. It doesn't even have to be designer, just something a little darker and nicer than Levi's or Wranglers. My husband does not wear them and refuses to even consider that they might look good. I don't know what the deal is with most men in the South not catching on to this trend. I was able to get Jody to try a pair on at Hudsons the other day. ( There are still a bunch there and they are really cheap) There weren't any funny pockets, holes, weird stains, or awkward tight places. They looked 100 times better than his Levi's. I complimented him and told him how good he looked but he laughed and said he would never wear them. Oh well =( Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Or, if your significant other does wear them, how did you ever talk them into it? Maybe I should just give up and be thankful I have a manly husband who is not concerned with what is fashionable. He could dress better than me and that would not be good......

Sure do!!! For Christmas Jonathan's mom gave him a pair of jeans. Well he has gained a few lbs from last year, so we had to go up a size. Of course they didn't have his exact light color or style he liked of the Levis, when my mother in law and I went, so we had to go back a third time to get him the exact pair that he wants. So I thought I found the right ones, but oh no, these had a button fly and he won't wear a button fly! Once again, we had ot take them back! Why are they so picky and wont branch out!
Stephen was actually pretty easy to get "nice" jeans for. I found him some at gap and when he tried them on I think he too realized how good he looked in them ;) he caught a lot of "crap" from friends and family but in reality his friends and family soon followed the trend. These boys. Crazy what they get in their heads!!! Oh and we recently bought stephen a second pair in a darker wash and we both love them as well! Maybe you should just wait a few years and then jodi will be up for it? :) good luck!
Maybe Gap is the key. I will keep everyone posted!
the trick for me was that Ben likes the Polo jeans.... they sell them at Dillards (or you can go to the Polo store at Tanger Outlets). Ben has always worn the light colored regular ole guy normal ones.... but last time he needed a new pair, I got him a pair of the same ones but then got him a pair of the DARKER color & at first he claimed he would never wear them & of course said he would get made fun of... but then he tried them on & liked them & I get him to wear them for a "nicer" look!
I think gap is ideal. You know hollis, and I actually convinced that country boy to buy some jeans from there that were a darker wash. His pretty much bleached levis and wranglers weren't holding up too well anymore. Suprisingly, his friends didn't make too much fun of him. Maybe because they look so good. :)
